What we are seeing this summer.
Three reads from our desk this month, and one of them reverses what we told you in July: super-mid inventory has turned, large-cabin scarcity now comes with softer asking prices, and the turboprop climb has slowed.
Super-mid jets
We called a buyer window in July. Inventory just fell 13.4% in a month — the largest drop of any segment.
Large-cabin jets
Inventory down 39.6% year-on-year, yet asking prices are down 3.4%. Scarcity without pricing power.
Turboprops
Still a seller’s market at +4.6% year-on-year, but the monthly pace has cooled to +0.9%.
